Aims of Humani (Humanist Association of Northern Ireland)

Humani, which is affiliated to the BHA and the IHEU, seeks to promote secular Humanism in the province and to represent the interests of those who adopt this enlightened philosophy.

Humani seeks to promote freethought, tolerance, compromise and community in a society dominated for so long by sectarian religious and nationalists ideologies.

Humani works in co-operation with other Humanist groups in Ireland and Great Britain through the Humanist Council of the Isles (HCOTI) and events such as an annual all-Ireland Summer School.

Humani provides a forum for debate, discussion and education on the important issues of the day, through our monthly meetings, our bi-monthly magazine, our website and e-mail discussion list.

Humani seeks to promote a secular philosophy to the wider world through its literature which includes Humani, a bi-monthly magazine available to members as part of their subscription.

Humani seeks to promote its philosophy to the wider world through its website: http://nireland.humanist.org.uk
